Juice Therapy for Various Ailments
Juicing is a great way to get in important nutrients. Many of us are depleted in certain vitamins and minerals, which we can easily attain through concentrated fruit and vegetable juicing.
By juicing, and consuming these juices, you’ll provide your body with a faster, more efficient way of absorbing immune-boosting nutrients naturally found in whole fruit and vegetables.
Juicing provides a way to access digestive enzymes typically locked away in the fibre matrix of whole fruit and vegetables. It nourishes the digestive tract, and also provides certain phytonutrients and compounds that normally aren’t available to us simply by chewing.
Below are 21 different juice recipes for a variety of different ailments you might be suffering from.
For each juice, you can use a juicer, or you can alternatively use a high-speed blender to pulverize the ingredients, and then strain out the fibre in a nut-milk bag. Each recipe is 1 serving – if you cannot drink it all in one go, split the recipe in half or save the rest for a second serving later in the day. Juices are best drunk on an empty stomach, so I love them first thing in the morning before breakfast!
